Opening in August 2008 with an acclaimed international exhibition on the subject of war, the gallery (previously known as AIM) quickly established itself as an art charity with a remarkably creative outlook and high professional standards.
Though a non-profitmaking charity, we sustained ourselves for the duration of our 3 years in the centre:mk - thanks to a rich engagement with the wider public, the generous donation of time and energy from our volunteers and the support of local organisations and high profile commercial companies.
We feel strongly that with all the skill and care that went into the creation of this space, we provided a unique and welcoming atmosphere. This is exactly the kind of atmosphere required for the re-creation of a vibrant shopping experience that benefits all.
December 2011 saw the Gallery's final show, 'Bazaar' at 759 Midsummer Boulevard. We are now seeking a new venue through which we may continue to promote the creative talents of the Milton Keynes community.
