Life Drawing // September 2011

The challenge of drawing and painting from life is the primary passion of the artists presently exhibiting at AIM for Art Gallery. Eddie Bates, Janet Carter, Trixie Dinn, Jo Stone and Louise Wooldridge came together as a result of their shared interest and are now affiliated to other artists in the Leighton Buzzard area under the umbrella of The Life Club. The works on show carry a distinct unity with many pieces developed from the same studio sessions but within this, the individual works display and varied focus that allows for the rare opportunity to compare differing artistic interpretations of a single subject matter. The Life Club has held three very successful Summer Exhibitions at the Moat Farm Gallery in Stoke Hammond.
